Guangzhou is a large city in Southern China. It used to be called Kanton. It is the home of the Kanton trade fair that is held each spring and autumn. It must be the largest trade show in the world and has pavilions for many different kinds of products and occupies many hotels and even parking structures are converted into show rooms. There is a pavilion that sells lapidary items and jewelry and even some minerals. Thousands of containers of merchandise of all kinds are sold here each year.
