50 km northwest of Balıkesir city. Skarns and veins in volcanic rocks. Mining of Pb-Zn(-Ag) deposits. Production dates from ancient times, but main production from 1880-1935. 4 Mt ore containing 400 kt Pb, 400 kt Zn, 3 t Au, and 1 kt Ag.
