The Galiuro Range runs in a SE-NW trend. The principal portion of the range lies in southwestern Graham County, with the very southeastern end in northern Pima County, and the northwestern end in Pinal County. The range separates the San Pedro River Valley on the west from the Aravaipa Valley on the east.
