Fe-(Cu-Co) mine.
The most important and richest mine in the Siegerland district. Reached a depth of 1320 m.
Formed in 1895 by consolidation of several small mines that had been working on the Eisenzecher veins (Henrich, 1998).
Operated from the 18th century until 1960.
