Bollihope Quarry
Mining area centred on Bollihope Burn, south of Stanhope. Bollihope Burn is a tributary of the Wear, with its confluence east of Frosterley.
Large quarry workings situated on both sides of the Egglestone to Stanhope road. Mineralisation can be found on the adjacent dumps but non-evident amongst the actual quarry workings.
