Structure: N — S Trend Of Mountains And Major Fault Systems Area Is Faulted, Extending In A SE Direction (After Ore Deposition, Mimbres Mtns.)

Alteration: Silicification, Oxidized

Commodity: Mn was mined during the 1940s

Deposit: Rich ore was found in green flint, faulting in the area is post-ore deposition. This record contains data from record number d002899 by J. William Hasler, which has been deleted from MRDS.

Development: Bridal chamber body of silver ore is one of the largest ever found ; Econ.Com: mines were invaded by water at the 150 ft (ca. 46 m) level

Geology: Dip of sed. Strata is 20 deg. SE

Rock formation(s): Rhyolite; Andesite; Mimbres Formation, Limestone; Lake Valley Formation, Limestone; Percha Formation, Shale

Ore(s): Capping shale overlies the ore, locus probably from andesite source
