The strata in the Longmenshan deposit are mainly metamorphic clastic rocks of the Triassic Bayan Har Mountain Group, which strikes 110°–150° and dips NE at 45°–80°, including metamorphic sandstone and felsic hornfels. The biotite granite is exposed in the north of the mining area. There are 37 granitic pegmatite veins exposed in the Longmenshan area, including 14 Li-Be pegmatite veins. The pegmatite is distributed in the northwest direction and inclined to the northeast, and the dip angle is 51°–72.5°. Most of the single pegmatite veins are vein-like, and a few are lenticular. It is generally about 0.6–24.5 meters wide and 60–1025 meters long.
