Vidly (German: Gabel) is a small village in the district of Bruntál, part of the town of Vrbno pod Pradědem, located on the upper reaches of Central Opava.
There are several old shafts for iron and copper ore mining. Some even almost at the top of Malý Děd (Kleiner Vaterberg/Leiterberg, "Little Grandpa"). High-quality iron ore (magnetite) was exported from these shafts to Germany. Small remnants of a water-powered crusher can be seen here.
