It is part of the important group of lead mines in the area that continues to the village of Bellmunt del Priorat.
It is the nearest to the people of El Molar, preserved important dumps and numerous buildings.
In the southern part of the mine, next to the road between the villages of Bellmunt and El Molar, crops out a vein of Baryte with an interesting mineralization from the alteration of the Tennantite.
