Name:
Named after Professor Ferenc Schafarzik (March 20, 1854 - September 5, 1927) Hungarian mineralogist and engineering geologist of Budapest, Hungary. Professor of Mineralogy and Geology in the Polytechnic at Budapest.
A secondary mineral occurring in the oxidation zones of antimony-bearing hydrothermal mineral deposits.
