Named as the zincian analogue of rosasite.
Rosasite Group.
Reinvestigation by modern methods needed. The crystal structure of its Cu analogue, rosasite, has been solved by Perchiazzi (2006).
Fehér et al. (2015) argue that the "zincrosasite" insufficiently described by Strunz (1959) and material later analysed by Paulis et al. (2005) is in fact rosasite, since the Zn:Cu ratio is not decisive in the distinction between the end-members, only the occupancies of the Me(1) and Me(2) sites (the latter is smaller and preferably occupied by Zn).

The Zn-dominant end-member was named parádsasvárite (Fehér et al., 2015).
