Named in honour of Anatoly Nikolaevich Zaitsev (Анатолий Николаевич Зайцев) (b. 1963) of St. Petersburg State University (Russia) and The Natural History Museum (UK), in recognition of his contribution to the study of carbonatites and REE minerals of the Kola peninsula.
