About BitikleiteHide

Formula:
Ca3SbSn(AlO4)3
Crystal System:
Isometric
Name:
First named Bitikleite-(SnAl), but according to the new nomenclature of the garnet supergroup (Grew et al. 2013) suffixes should not be used in naming minerals in the garnet supergroup. The name was changed to Bitikleite.
Forms solid-solution series with Kerimasite, Kimzeyite, Morimotoite, Schorlomite and Toturite.
