The Lelatema Mountains are a mountain range in Tanzania. It is located in the Manyara Region, in the northeastern part of the country, 300 km northeast of Dodoma, the capital of the country.

The Lelatema Mountains stretch for 55 km in a southeast direction. The highest point is 1,625 meters above sea level.

Lelatema and Ol Doinyo Lossoido are part of the Lelatema Mountains.

The average temperature is 25 °C. The warmest month is January, at 28 °C, and the coldest is June, at 20 °C. The average rainfall is 760 millimeters per year. The wettest month is April, with 169 millimeters of rain, and the driest is July, with 7 millimeters.

Additional minerals in sample include scattered phlogopite (~1.0 wt% V), minor clinochlore (~2 wt% V), minor quartz, minor goldmanite-grossular solid-solution, scattered graphite, minor vanadian titanite (~3.5 wt% V, and a minor unidentified Pb-V-As mineral. The mukhinite grain contains 9.25 wt% V and 3.3 wt% Cr.
