Ancient Fe-mine; Cu occurrence, located ca. 5 km N of the village of Odemira.

Mining concession no. 323 registered on 22-10-1900.

Activity periods: 1866-1886 / 1900-1906.



- Ocorrências ferro manganesíferas - disseminadas e filonianas ligadas a distintas formações vulcano-sedimentares, ligadas a processos metamórficos - estratiformes.
- Filões de quartzo e óxidos de ferro e manganês, com alguns carbonatos, orientados N 40º E. Impregnações de Fe e Mn nos xistos.
- Hematite (oligisto), limonite, pirolusite.
