Porphyry style and high sulphidation epithermal vein type gold-copper mineralizations, associated with dacitic volcanics hosted in Miocene shales of the Negro Peinado and Mogotes Formations. Includes the La Mejicana mine, Upulungus mine, and diverse other prospects and adits. Most important veins are the San Pedro and the Upulungus.
