Various mineralizations occur in the area around Sasso di Furbara.
Besides the epithermal fluorite deposits of Monte delle Fate-Piano del Casone, the Monte Sughereto kaolin deposit, occurrences of gypsum crystals (from layers in the fields between Monte delle Fate and Piano del Casone), quartz crystals (in particular, loose double-terminated crystals exposed by excavations near Pian della Carlotta), and marly limestone (the so-called "ruin marble" or "paesina stone") are also reported.
