Skarn-type Au-(Fe-Cu) deposits, occupying a geotectonic depression in the southeastern Sino-Korean platform. Intermediate-acidic intrusions in this area are controlled by intersections of NNE-trending deep faults with E-W-trending faults. Magnesian skarns occur in the contact zones between Yanshanian quartz monzodiorite porphyry and middle to upper Cambrian dolomitic marble, or in dolomite xenoliths in the intrusions. In the endo-contact zones, calcic skarns are generally present.
