---|---|---|---|---|---|
Spitham | Oraspold A. L. (1956) | "D1=Johvi stage", in Oraspold (1956) | not reported | 457.5 - 449.5 Ma Late/Upper Ordovician | |
Spitham | Bockelie J. F. (1979) | "stage D3", in Bockelie (1979) | not reported | 457.5 - 452 Ma Late/Upper Ordovician | |
Spithami, Kahula Fm. | Kröger B., Isakar M. (2006) | Kahula | No stratigraphic data of higher resolution than "Haljala Regional Stage" are given in the primary reference. Hints et al. (2008, Estonian J. Earth Sci. 57(3)), in a short note, report an exposure of the Kinnekulle K-Bentonite from this locality. Thus, the rocks clearly are of Jõhvian age and belong, without much doubt, to the Kahula Formation (cf. Kaljo et al, 2007, Palaegeogr. Palaeoclimat. Palaeoecol. 245, p. 138-155, fig. 2). | "limestone" | 457.5 - 449.5 Ma Late/Upper Ordovician |
