At the area of the deposit are distributed crystalline schists of the Kamchatka series of late Proterozoic and gneissoid granites of the
Krutogorovskiy complex of early Cretaceous. Nickel-bearing formations are represented by stocks and dikes of the Dukukskiy basite-hyperbasite complex of Eocene age. Copper-nickel mineralization is spatially conjugated with one of dike swarms oriented subvertically.
