Abandoned brucite marble quarries (Val Giordano I and II) near Borcola Pass.

This brucite marble, commercially known as pearl grey marble, is the product of contact metamorphism, originated from Cenozoic basaltic intrusions in Late Triassic dolostone (Dolomia Principale Formation).
