Hastings County is world-famous for its varied mineralogy and mineral collecting potential. An important part of the region's economy derives from mineralogical tourism.
Hastings County is divided into towns, townships, municipalities, two separated municipalities, and a territory. The divisions are:

Description: Specimens exhibit a variety of habits including bowtie twins (rare, 5mm the largest we have found). Gold is occasionally found on the arsenopyrite crystals.
