A former small underground Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag-Au-Mn-Mo mine group located in the NE ¼ sec. 25, T.12S., R.8E. (protracted), ½ mile NW of Waterman Peak and 1½ miles S of Silver Bell. Discovered 1880. First produced 1907. Closed 1969. Owned/operated at times, or in part, by Indiana-Arizona Development Co.; Indiana-Arizona Copper Co.; Indiana-Arizona Development Co., International Ore Separation Co.; Western Minerals, Boyd & Pillard, Indiana-Arizona Mining Co.; Golden Crown Mining Co.; Waterman Mountains Mining Co.; Diana-Arizona Copper Co, Waterman Mountain Manganese; Western Minerals Corp.; and the Knox-Arizona Copper Mining Co.

Mineralization is irregular, vein-like, and pipe-like orebodies containing base metal carbonates and sulfides in siliceous, limonitic and manganiferous breccia zones along strong faults and fissures or at fissure intersections in folded Paleozoic quartzite and limestones. Ore control was the breccia zones along the faults and fissures in the sedimentary rocks at at the contact with granite. Alteration includes silication and impregnation with iron oxide. The host rock units are Bolsa Quartzite and the Martin Formation. An associated rock unit is the Waterman Alaskite.

There are three main veins in this group, the Indiana vein (strikes N55E and dips 85NW), the WAterman vein (strikes N20E and dips 65NW), and the Burro vein (strikes N45E and dips 70SE).

Local structures include breccia zones and strong faults trending NW and E to NE with some folding. Other rock units in the area include the Abrigo Formation, the Escabrosa Limestone, and the Naco Formation.

Workings include shaft and adit operations totalling 548.64 meters in length and 243.84 meters deep. Found in the late 1880's but only worked sporadically from 1907 to 1969, producing some 8,000 tons of ore averaging about 7% each of Pb & Zn, 2% Cu, 8 oz. Ag/T and minor Au.
