A mining district located inn the Cimarron Range, S of the Baldy District.
Nearly all deposits are skarns associated in the Sangre de Cristo formation next to quartz monzonite porphyry sills.
Ores(s): Mineralization consists of contact metasomatic deposits in limestones adjacent to porphyry.
