A copper-silver mine closed in early 1985. Owned by Oamities Mining Co. Produced > 13,000 tons Cu concentrate (1983) & 10,000 tons (1984).
Reduced facies type copper-silver deposit, hosted in biotite schist, amphibolite schist, quartzite and conglomerate of the Proterozoic Nosib Group, which are overlain by pink quartzite, marble and graphitic schist of the Swakop Group. The footwall of the ore bodies is formed by red-brown quartzite and meta-evaporites.
