Hexaprotodon sivalensis

Description

Hexaprotodon sivalensis is an extinct species of hippopotamus belonging to the genus Hexaprotodon which may include today's pygmy hippopotamuses. It lived much in India starting Pliocene, died out at Pleistocene. It was one of the very few Asian hippopotamuses.
