A former surface and underground Cu-Ag-Pb-Sb-Baryte-Fluorspar mine located in the center of sec. 2, T5S, R19E (San Carlos Reservoir 15 minute topo map), on the west side of Stanley Butte, near the summit, 4 miles N of Aravaipa. Last produced in 1950. Claims are situated in secs. 2, 11, 12 T5S, R19E.
Mineralization is ore in irregular seams and discontinuous bodies hosted in andesite. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings include a short tunnel, shallow shaft, and open cuts. USBM-ABGMT file data shows only 1 year of production reported (1950), when 4 tons pf ore was shipped out by J.W. Donowick.
