Structure: Stock Intrudes The Roberts Mtn Thrust Plates Rhyolite Porphyry Dikes Trend Predominantly West
Alteration: The Granitic Rock Has Been Strongly Sericitized
Deposit: Workings consist of a two compartment shaft 250 feet deep. An adit driven northward intersects the shaft at the 100 level, and a second level at 160 feet down. See humphrey (1945) for geologic map of the four claims banded fissure fillings of quartz with sulfides
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Geology: The deposits are banded fissure fillings. The three veins are from 4 to 18 inches wide and all strike westward. The sulfide ore, 100 feet in depth is composed of quartz pyrite, arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite. Post ore movement along the fissure containing the veins has crushed and decomposed the vein & wallrock into two foot wide zones of sericitized country rock and broken masses of quartz and ore (emmons 1910).
