Structure: East-West Striking Faults Uinta-Cottonwood Arch, Sevier Overthrust Belt, Park City Anticline
Alteration: Oxidation
Tectonics: Basin And Range - Colorado Plateau Transition Zone, Cordilleran Hinge Line
Deposit: Ore found in three east-west striking fracture zones which dip vertically. The northly zone is nearly barren and the middle zone most productive. The southern zone may merge with the middle zone at depth. Ore was hit at the 300 ft and 500 ft levels. Ore generally occurs along the fault contact between quartzite and limestone amount of ore produced is unreported but said to be relatively small ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Development: Claims located in 1880 and tunnel driven at creek level. In 1901 systematic exploration was begun As the rich daly west and quincy ores were discovered. Little bell shaft was started in 1901. Rich lead ore struck in 1906 and 1909-1910. Ne W discoveries of ore made in 1911-1912. Property consolidated with park utah consolidated mines in 1920 and with united park city mines in 1953
