Dry Creek Mining NL produced 27.9 kg of alluvial gold from this site, 46 kilometres north-east of Halls Creek. This came from 97 848 cubic meters of alluvial and elluvial material. The company notes three other prospects in the area. Total resources it claims are 48 000 tonnes of ore at 5 g/t Au, 3 700 tonnes of ore at 25 g/t Au, and 9 000 tonnes of ore at 15 g/t Au from the three prospects.
The site contains a dam, prospectors shack, and several sheds. Tracks extend out to nearby creek lines. The track to the location is difficult and rough. Leaving the Great Northern Highway, about 20 kilometres north of Halls Creek, and head east to the Ilmars prospect. A track heads north then east, winding its way through rugged hilly country and many creek crossings for about 25 kilometres as the crow flies, but probably longer as the track zig-zags its way through. Permission is needed if the lease is active.
