Located about one kilometre along a track south south-west of the Old Halls Creek site. Consists of a bulldozed area as a metal detecting exercise, and much of the old workings are gone.
A battery was erected at the site in 1887, with the customary smashing the bottle of champagne over the flywheel. One miner present said ' Its a darn shame to waste good liquor like that.'
The east-west trending reef was 4 feet wide, at places expanding to 7 feet. Reported in 1888 with 300 tonnes of ore at grass, some very rich in gold. The country rock is bluish shale. Two shafts were sunk to 70 feet deep each, and 90 feet apart. Owners were Cohn and party, with reports found on the mine between 1887 to 1889. The latter date one source states only the Lady Broome and Jubilee mines were working along this line of lode.
The mine before 1897 produced 406 tonnes of ore for 0.9 Kg of gold.
Like much of the goldfield, the mine was probably subjected to intermittent prospector activity to the present day. Such information is generally not recorded.
