Medium-scale Zn-W-Cu-(Fe-Au-Ag-Mo) skarn, occurring in the contact zone between a Triassic granite, and marble, sandstones and slate of the Early Permian Yuquan Formation. The major orebody is 1,315 m long, 30 m thick, and extends 440 m downdip. Some orebodies contain mainly Cu and Zn minerals, others contain mainly scheelite. Alteration includes skarn formation and silica alteration. Alteration to hornfels occurs at the contact of sandstones and slates with the granite.
