A former Pb-Ag-Au-Zn-Cu mine located in the NE¼ sec. 20, T22N, R1E, SBM, 5.1 km (3.1 miles) NE of Warm Spring and 7.9 km (4.9 miles) ESE of Gold Hill (summit), on the E slope of the Panamint Range, on private (patented) land within National Park Service wilderness land area (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness). Discovered in 1908. First operated in 1915. Owned by the New Sutherland Divide Mining Co. (99%). Operated by Chet Whitlock, Utah. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

The ore body strikes N20W and dips 30E at a thickness of 6 meters and a depth-to-top of 25 meters, a width of 30 meters and a length of 70 meters. Ore body No. 1 is a stockwork and tabular in shape. Ore body No. 2 is a breccia fill and irregular in shape. The primary mode of origin was hydrothermal. rimary ore control was fracturing and the secondary control was lithology. The degree of wallrock alteration is unknown. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).
