A former U occurrence/mine located in the NE¼ sec. 17, T27S, R32E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) WNW of Miracle Hot Springs, along the N canyon wall of the Kern River Canyon, between Bradshaw Creek on the E and Lilly Canyon on the W, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings.
