A former W occurrence/mine located in the S½ (estimated) sec. 7, T25S, R32E, MDM, 5.1 km (3.2 miles) NW of Alta Sierra, along the W canyon wall of the West Fork Cedar Creek (1 mile S of Sunday Peak), on National Forest land. Operated during the period 1948 to 1950. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in marble and quartz diorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
