Geology: The yttrium and zirconium are found in the silicate mineral eudialyte. Eudialyte is disseminated As a rock-forming mineral in syenites, quartz syenites, and alkali granites. Heavy lanthanide elements also are found in recoverable amounts in the deposit. Ore-grade material occurs at the surface and it extends beyond the areas drilled.
