Mineralized clefts in phyllites in the Anger valley, a western side valley to the Gastein valley. Located about 4.5 km SW of Bad Hofgastein.
Also gold and silver smelting area in which ores from the Bockhart mining area were smelted. According to Mongiatti et al. (2009), the ore minerals comprise galena and pyrite, with variable amounts of sphalerite, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite. Gold-rich silver is mainly found in the galena ore.
