An almost completely black amphibolite with some 2-3 mm thick lighter bands along the direction of the foliation. The amphibolite is homogeneously fine to medium coarse grained. The amphibolite has a thickness of 15-20 m. Ca. 350 m3 of rock has been taken out around 1975, but it is not known if this was actually used as dimension stone.
