Chernorechye (known as Chorgun until 1945) is a village in the valley of Chyornaya River, near the confluence of the Aytodorki and Sukhoy streams with the main river.

The Chorgunskoe deposit of bentonite clays is located in the vicinity of Chernorechye (Popov, 1938).

At the end of the 1990s, the drilling of some wells, along the road between the villages of Chernorechye and Khmelnitskoe at the southern foot of Mount Batarya-Bair, revealed the presence of a quartz-stibnite lode mineralization in the Lower Cretaceous terrigenous rocks (Artemenko et al., 2000 and 2002).
