PGM (Platinum-Group Metal) placer deposit, associated with the Gal’moenan ultrabasic complex, along the Levtyrinyvayam River.

It is the longest placer around the Gal’moenan complex and originates from its eastern part, where dunite coexists with wehrlite, clinopyroxenite, and gabbro.

Typical of this placers are small rounded grains of platinum, with few inclusions of chromite, ranging in composition from native platinum to iron-bearing platinum, having iron contents generally higher than in lodes of the complex (30–35 at.% Fe). Native osmium included in isoferroplatinum grains is also a typical paragenesis. Grains of primary Pt–Fe alloy are sometimes altered to produce Pt–Fe–Cu varieties belonging to the tetraferroplatinum
– tulameenite series.
