A former surface Mn-Au-Mo-Pb-Cu-Baryte-Fluorite-Zn mine. Discovered 1863 by Henry Wickenburg. Located in W½ sec. 16, T.5N., R.8W.
Mineralization is layers of barite crystals with fluorite that alternates with black calcite in a hypogene vein cutting an andesite flow. Orebody is lens-shaped. Related structure is the Talmage fault zone, 150 feet wide that offsets the ore.
