A Zn-Cu-Pb-Ag-Au mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 35, T.20S., R.14E., ¾ of a mile north of the township line in a small west fork of Josephine Canyon, at an elevation of about 5,300 feet. It is north of the Mary Mine. Owned at times, or in part, by Mr. artin Michelske; Reid; Johnson; Kramer; the Arizona Consolidated Gold & Copper Mines; and the Boulder Mining Co.
Mineralization is spotty, partly oxidized sulfides in a narrow, lensing quartz fissure vein cutting Cretaceous rhyodacite welded tuff and interbedded arkose near intrusive Laramide diorite.
Mineralization involves a 6 foot wide quartz vein in granite that strikes N.60ºE. The quartz is iron stained and shows a little chalcopyrite and chalcocite.
Workings include a short adit a 60 foot drift, and shaft operations. Sporadic production for the group of some 350 tons of ore averaging about 7% Zn, 3% Cu, 2% Pb, and 3 oz. Ag/T, from the early 1900's through 1960.
