Very old locality with Cu-Fe-Zn (Mn-Pb) mineralization (stratiform) in Paleozoic greywackes and phyllites. Secondary copper minerals.
Unfortunately, the mining group disappeared as construction developing in the area. Azurite from Jarazmin was first mentioned by Professor Salvador Calderon highlighting in his famous book remarkable crystals at this locality which were collected and displayed in the Museum of Natural Science in Madrid.
