Magmatic graphite deposit, occurring in an EW-trending belt and consisting of several layers of graphite-rich schist. The deposit is hosted in biotite schist, quartz schist, calcarceous schist, garnet schist, sillimanite schist, sillimanite gneiss, dolomite marble and apatite marble, belonging to the upper part of the Mashan Group, a formation of Al-rich argillaceous rocks and carbonate rocks metamorphosed under amphibolite-granulite facies.
