An old silver and cobalt mine, started in 1727 and worked until 1857. During the late 19th century, it was one of the most important mines in the district and employed up to 236 workers. In 1923, it was tried again but not restarted. From 1947 until 1951, it was reworked for uranium.
Now a tourist mine ("Exhibition Mine Markus Röhling Stolln Frohnau e. V.").

Around 1835, the Markus Röhling sett included numerous neighbouring mines and adits. From 1825 until its closure, the Krönung Mine and all its workings were included with the sett. The Krönung Mine, however, continued operations until 1879 and was later included with the Himmelfahrt Mine at Buchholz.
