Inside looking out
Sunrise and Sunshine Mines, Papago Mining District, Sierrita Mountains, Pima County, Arizona, USAView from the mine interior looking toward daylight. This mined cavern is very wide and very high although it is only about 20 meters from the entrance to the back wall of the mine.

Material in crevice
Green Chip Marble Quarry, Dragoon Marble Quarries, Dragoon District(Golden Rule District), Cochise County, Arizona, USAGorgeous material exposed in a crevice at the juncture of two veins of different material near the base of the quarry wall. Material was wetted to enhance its color. Area of image is approximately 30x20cm.

On quarry floor
Green Chip Marble Quarry, Dragoon Marble Quarries, Dragoon District(Golden Rule District), Cochise County, Arizona, USALarge block of interesting material on the quarry floor. It is unclear whether the block was mined or brought down by gravity. The trekking pole in the photo is 110cm long.
