Nemopteridae

Description

Spoonwings or Nemopteridae are a family of neuropteran insects. They are also called thread-winged antlions. They are found in the Ethiopian, Palearctic, Australasian and Neotropical regions but absent in North America (though a fossil has been found in Colorado).
