A former W occurrence/mine located in sec. 19, T12N, R1E, SBM, about 5 km NNE of Lane Mountain (summit). Operated during the period 1950 to 1952 at least. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This was the most significant W development in California in the 1950's and was still active in 1952. No other information is available.

Mineralization is hosted in metasedimentary rock. The ore body is irregular in form, strikes E-W and dips 45S at a width of 15.24 meters and a length of 30.48 meters. The region is underlain by a comp;lex of plutonic igneous rocks ranging from quartz diorite to gabbro, within the complex are masses of metamorphosed sediments. Scheelite is disseminated through the tactite. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided and/or Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of an open pit initially, then an inclined shaft 25S for 80 feet, with an easterly drift on the 80 foot level for 30 feet.

Production data are found in: Wright, L.A., et al (1953).

Production statistics: Year: 1951 (period = 1951) (estimate): WO3 recovery percentage at 2 weight percent.
