Uranium mine were oxidation zone of the deposit is mined. Secondary uranium minerals belong to the uranyl phosphate series and are the principal ore minerals. They form from primary pitchblende, either by direct oxidation and hydrothermal alteration in situ, or at various distances from the orebody after migration of the very soluble and mobile uranyl ion
