The Gezigou East deposit lies in the hanging wall of the Anqi Fault and is closely associated with acidic magmatic activity. It is accompanied by pronounced Au-As-Sb geochemical anomalies and displays alteration assemblages including chloritization, carbonatization, and sericitization.
